By now I am pretty sure that almost if not all of you have heard about the Ancestry App for android is out. If I am not mistaken it was released on December 21st. I had previously played with it on a friends Ipad but had heard that it was limited to only 10,000 names, if true or not I am not sure do don’t quote me.
Well anyways I have a Kindle Fire and I really like the application since it downloaded my 15,000 plus database and it is also available offline. Since I mainly use it to just display it to family members and also easy way to have it available at a moments notice. If you have not done so here you can get it Ancestry App. You can also read more about it.
Please note that in order to get your tree into the app you have to upload your gedcom to your Ancestry.com account but the good thing is that it is free to create an account and have your tree online. Just make sure to select the appropriate security settings for your tree.

Awesome! Glad the app is working so well for you. You should have no problem with a 10,000+ tree on the iOS app as well.
I am just debating on moving everything to family tree maker, bought the software a couple of weeks ago but I just can’t get used to it.
