Many of you already know that my Garza’s were originally from Arcabuz, Tamaulipas, Mexico and about a year ago I came across a facebook page titled “Yo Tambien Soy de Arcabuz Tamaulipas“. I followed that page until the administrators moved it to Facebook Groups and titled it “Yo tambien soy de Arcabuz“.
From time to time I check it out since many cousins also have joined the group and since many of my parent’s ancestors are form this area.
I recently was surprised to find the following photo posted there.

 This photo was shared by Angela Cantu and it is a photo of my great grandparents (my fathers grandparents) Pedro Marroquin Perez and Maria Amalia Gonzalez Guerra. With this one I now have two photos of them and they are precious to me since I grew up hearing stories about them. The other photo I have about them was uploaded by Ricardo Reyna to the We Are Cousins Facebook Page.
This is the reason that I highly stress to everyone to get a facebook account and start looking for pages about the areas or towns our ancestors were from. Also don’t forget to share your photos they may be precious to your cousins.
