He was married to Maria Benavides the daughter of Bernardo Benavides and Francisca Reyes. Blas and Maria are my 8th great grandparents.

Blas Canales is my 6th great grandfather. I descend from him by way of his son Blas. We have 12,461 of his descendants in the kindred group database. I have highlighted the two yDNA lines that extend to the present.
