Here is the March 19, 1721 death record of Gabriel de la Garza in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Gabriel is my wife's 8th great grandfather.

This record indicates that he was the husband of Clara de la Garza de Montemayor.

Though other records we know that his parents were Francisco de la Garza and Juana Garcia. The parents of his wife were Juan de la Garza Falcon and Margarita de Montemayor.

  3. Moises; One of my great g-mas is Librada Garza daughter of Froylan Garza. Going back generations, I found a son, Francisco de la Garza de Las Casas, of a Gabriel Garza BUT this Gabriel’s wife is Maria de Las Casas?? The time period matches. Different Gabriel?
