This is the death record of Nicolas Marroquin, dated August 17, 1719. Nicolas is my 7th great grandfather and he died in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
This record indicates that Nicolas Marroquin used to be married to Francisca Rodriguez. You can see their marriage record here: 1707 Marriage of Nicolas Marroquin and Francisca Rodriguez.
Unfortunately I have yet to discover whom the parents of Nicolas are. As for the parents of Francisca Rodriguez they are Francisco Rodriguez de Montemayor and Ramona de Ayala.
Nicolas is also the progenitor of the Marroquin surname in Nuevo leon, Tamaulipas, and South Texas. He is also the focus of the book "Marroquin: Last Names of Nuevo Leon".

So whats the theory on his birth parents or his records? Why can’t they be found?
I assume because he was not born in Nuevo Leon but somewhere else. The problem is we don’t know where.
Don Nicholas Marroquin was my 7th Great Grand Father. His father was Baltasar de los Reies. However, there is no record of his mother. According to name, his mother must have had the name Marroquin. Source: familysearch.org
Could you please send me a link or a copy of the record mentioning the name of his father so that I can look into it.
