A very popular last name out there is that of Hinojosa and today I want to tell you about my latest book that focuses on this last name. It is titled "Hinojosa" and is part of my book series Last Names of Nuevo Leon.
This book contains eight generations of descendants of Diego de Hinojosa and Maria Cantu. It is believed that he was born in Rio Blanco, Nuevo Reino de Leon (Nuevo Leon) in the mid 1600’s. Diego de Hinojosa is considered to be the progenitor of the Hinojosa last name in Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, and Texas.
The time period covered by the book is that of the 1600's to the 1900's and it is 469 pages.
Keep in mind, this book as all my others are only tools to help you build your tree. Once you discover a death date, baptism date, and or marriage date get a copy of the original. It is very rewarding to do so and you will learn more details about your ancestors.
Also this book does not include every descendant of theirs since that is impossible, it only includes the ones that I have identified through documents, reliable published, and unpublished works.
