1763 Death Record of Juana Javiera Botello
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the March 7, 1763 death record of Juana Javiera Botello Morales, my 7th great grandmother, who died in Revilla (ciudad Guerrero), Tamaulipas, Mexico. 

She was married to Joseph Antonio de Treviño who was the son of Diego de Trevino and Isabel Rosa Martinez. Juana was the daughter of Pedro Botello Morales and Josefa Gonzalez.

  1. Hi Cousin! My name is Rosie Marquez Matta. My maiden name is Falcon Marquez. My mom is Maria Luisa Botello Falcon and are linked to Marcos Alonso de la Garza falcon. I have never been able to trace the Botello line. Do you have any information on this line? Where they came from and migrated to? I’m so curious if they were Sephardic Jews.     1. Thank you prima. As for Botello there is a book that focuses on that last name. It is called “Vida y Genealogia de los Botello en el Real de San Pedro de Boca de Leon” by Elio J. Botello. Use worldcat.org to find a library that has it since it is out of print.
