Hi Cousin! My name is Rosie Marquez Matta. My maiden name is Falcon Marquez. My mom is Maria Luisa Botello Falcon and are linked to Marcos Alonso de la Garza falcon. I have never been able to trace the Botello line. Do you have any information on this line? Where they came from and migrated to? I’m so curious if they were Sephardic Jews. Isn’t everyone curious about that! Thank you for ALL you do. Most of us would not be as far into our lineages and family history if it wasn’t for you! May G-d bless you and your family!
Sincerely,
Rosie Matta
Thank you prima. As for Botello there is a book that focuses on that last name. It is called “Vida y Genealogia de los Botello en el Real de San Pedro de Boca de Leon” by Elio J. Botello. Use worldcat.org to find a library that has it since it is out of print.
Marcos Alonzo “El Mozo” De la Garza y Arcón was her great-grandfather and is also mine
