This is the January 15, 1784 baptism record of Jose Luciano Rivas, my wife's 3rd great grandfather, who was baptized in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Jose Luciano is the son of Jose Antonio Patricio Rivas and Juana Tomasa Villarreal. He grows up to marry Maria Sabina Farias the daughter of Francsico Ignacio Farias and Maria Francisca Ramirez.
His baptism record states that he was eight days old at the time that he was baptized so we can assume that he was born on 07 Jan 1784 and it is also stated that he was from el Potrero which I assume is a ranch.

Jose Luciano Rivas is also my 3rd Great Grandfather, Blasita Rivas was 1 of Jose Luciano Rivas and Sabina Farias daughters. Blasita was my Great Grandmother Nives Diaz mother. Grandfather’s side.

That s soo cool. Was Blasita married to Benito Diaz? I don’t have anything else on her descendants.
Jose Patricio and Juana Tomasa are my 6x great-grandparents through their other son Jose Maria Anselmo, so Jose Luciano is my 6th great uncle. Thanks for sharing!
