This is the 1737 Baptism of Maria Juana Gertrudis Sanchez who was baptized in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. She is my 7th Great Grandmother through my paternal side.
The record indicates that her parents are Simon Sanchez and Maria Ramirez. It also states that she was fifteen days old when she was born. This would put her birthdate about around December 26, 1736.
Her name is also just listed as Juana Gertrudis but in other records Maria is included with her name.
Also, the record indicates something very interesting to me. It states that Simon Sanchez was the servant of Doña Anna Maria de Almondos.
The record just below hers, also indicated that the parents of the child were servants of Anna Maria.
Maria Juana Gertrudis grows up to marry Jose Manuel Angel Hinojosa and many of their children are born in Camargo and Mier.

Congratulations on such a great find. Some many people have tried to find Juana’s ancestors without success. What a great job, specially reading the writing on the documents, and the research. Wow. I was going to send you the document of how I connect to the Hinojosa line with a 9 generation format but I am having problems with the font. I am sending the next best thing. From Manual Angel I only have one connection that I know of. As soon as I fix it,I will send you the whole format. I descend from many other Hinother lines.
I also descend from Manual Angel’s sister, Gertrudis hinojosa who married Jose Miguel Saenz Garcia of porcion 73 which will take you to the royal lines. and of course I descend from Manual Angel’s father Manual Hinojosa Sr. who married Inez Chapa Baez Benavides, and the father of Manual Hinojosa Sr. father to Rosa Hinojosa. (no direct line as of now.to Rosa) but I am also related to Manual Sr. Son, Diego Jr. who married Ana Josefa de la Garza De La Garza, Margarita Hinojosa de La Garza who married Miguel Saenz Benavidez, and Juan Christomoro Hinojosa de la Garza who married Maria Margarita Gonzalez Ochoa of por. 103 I think. I have more but I do not want to cause any confusion. I will send later.
We must be related, I am a descendant of Jose Nicolas Gonzalez and his Daughter Margaret Gonzalez who married Christomosus Hinojosa.
