This is the July 8, 1736 marriage record of my 6th great grandparents Joseph Cristobal Garcia and Maria Petronila Cantu who got married in El Valle del Carrizal, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The marriage record can be found on the church marriage records in Monterrey but the record states that they were married in el Carrizal.
The record states that the parents of Joseph Cristobal are Regalado Garcia and Josefa Rodriguez.
It is also mentioned that the parents of Petronila Cantu are Juan Cantu and Maria Flores and both are listed as deceased at the time of the marriage.
This is important since it narrows down the time frame to look for their death records.
