Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the February 13, 1797 church death record of Jose Miguel de Alanis who died in Los Hoyos (Los Aldamas), Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is the 6th great-grandfather of my wife.

Actually the record is a burial record but I consider them as death records because for that time period they are the only records that are available. This record indicates that he was form Los Hoyos and that he did not receive his sacraments due to the distance. So I can only assume that he died there.

The record also states that he was married to Maria Antonai Vela and states that he was buried in Cerralvo. It finally mentions that he did leave a will but I am not sure if one exists in the archives of Cerralvo.
