This 221-book contains seven generations of the descendants of Vicente Guerra Cañamar and Maria Micaela Geronima de la Garza. Vicente is considered the founder of Revilla, later on, known as Guerrero Viejo in present-day Tamaulipas. Their descendants thrived and can be found all over Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Texas, and beyond. This book contains genealogical information from the early 1750s through the early 1900s.
In the 1750 Census of Revilla Vicente and Micaela are listed with six of their children. Vicente was born in the early 1700s and is the son of Juan Guerra Cañamar and Elena Cavazos. In the 1753 census of Revilla Micaela is listed as being a widow, so we can assume that Vicente died before that year.
The parents of Micaela are Teodoro de la Garza Falcon and Maria Gonzalez de Quintanilla who was born about 1710 probably in Monterrey. She died June 1, 1780 in Revilla (Guerrero).
Vicente and Micaela married on January 15, 1732 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. To date I have only been able to find seven children for them and you can find their names
and descendants in this book.
This book has three sections. On the first section you will find seven generations of descendants for Vicente and Micaela. The second section contains four generations of ancestors for Vicente. The third and final section contains four generations of ancestors for Micaela.
Keep in mind, this book as all my others are only tools to help you build your tree. Once you discover a death date, baptism date, and or marriage date get a copy of the original. It is very rewarding to do so and you will learn more details about your ancestors.
Also this book does not include every descendant of theirs since that is impossible, it only includes the ones that I have identified through documents, reliable published, and unpublished works.
