1706 Death Record of Joseph de Villarreal
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the January 4, 1706 Death Record of Joseph de Villarreal who was buried in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is my 7th great-grandfather.

The record indicates that he was burried at the Capilla of San Francisco Javier. This was the old convent that got demolished in Monterrey in about 1909. From other records we know that he is the son of Bernabe de Villarreal and Isabel de la Garza.

The record indicates that he was married to Maria de Treviño. Treviño is Marias maternal surname. She also appears in records with her fathers surname of Maria de Oropeza. To date I have only found five children for them. To view all their descendnants and ancestors please check out Las Villas dle Norte database here: https://lasvillasdelnorte.com/database/

  1. I'm trying to find who were the parents of Santiago Villarreal, he had legitimate childrens with Encarnación Basaldua in Galeana Nuevo León from 1746 to 1762

I can't find the marriage record or his defunction record, i'm sure that they got married somewhere in Nuevo León but not in Galeana.
