This is the January 6, 1799 marriage of Pedro Jose Villarreal and Maria Gertrudis Flores who got married in what is now Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. They are the 4th great grandparents of my wife.
The record indicates that the parents of Pedro Jose are Francisco Ignacio Villarreal and Maria Teresa Vela. The parents of Maria Gertrudis are listed as Jose Antonio Flores and Maria Isabel Salinas.
It is interesting to note that the left margin has "de la Cuevas". Las Cuevas was the Flores ranch and it later became San miguel de Camargo and presently it is known by Diaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas.

We’re the two mentioned born in Tamaulipas, Mexico?
It says one was originaly of Camargo and the bride from that Villa. I think it is implied that both were born in the mentioned places. Of course, unless a record comes up indicating otherwise.
