"As part of the activities to disseminate the documentary heritage of our Historical Archive, yesterday we presented the digital book "The notarial protocols of the town of San Juan Bautista de Cadereyta (1810-1821)", where we were accompanied by Mtro . Héctor Jaime Treviño Villarreal, director of the General Archive of the State of Nuevo Leon, as well as the mayor, Ing. Cosme Leal, the official chronicler of the municipality, Dr. José Ascensión Tijerina, the city secretary Roberto Garza, city council officials, secretaries and administrative .

The text has an introductory study that takes a historical tour to situate us in the decade of 1810-1821, times of the independence insurgency. In a second moment, the role of notaries and the certainty of legality are discussed, as well as aspects of the public life of the town until independence.
