This is the February 2, 1777 baptism of Maria Gertrudis Ildefonsa Valdez, my 5th great-grandmother, who was baptized in what is nowadays Santiago, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The record states that she was eight days old when waptized. So we can safely assume that she was born on Janaury 25, 1777.
She is the daughter of Francisco Salvador Valdez and Maria Antonia Gertrudis Rodriguez. She grows up to marry Juan Jose Marroquin the son of Joseph Ascencio Marroquin and Juana Maria Eusebia Perez de Moya.

Hi Primo , Ma Gertrudis Yldefonsa Valdez is my 3rd cousin 5x’s removed, Her Mother MarÃa Inés de la Garza González Hidalgo is my 7th GG in my Dad’s side of family, I’m a Flores thru my Dad and my Mom was a Gonzalez-Treviño from Mercedes , Tex , My Dad was was Montemorelos, NL and surrounding areas ! I think we are related thru both sides of family , my Great Great Grandma was Ma Refugio De La Garza , but they dropped the De La ! I appreciate all that you do on this site & More ! I read the your original Baptism record of Maria Getrudis Ildefonsa Valdes. Am I wrong that it states "ocho dias nacida". I don't like to correct anyone but for anyone that is decended from her, that day could matter.
