Having been working on my maternal ancestors,, I have come to a standstill. I know my mother's grandparents' names but have no idea where they come from. I only know their names and that's about it. I would appreciate some leads or a family tree that corresponds to them.
My maternal great grandfather was Nicolas Alanis (b. April 1968) and his wife was Ygnacia L. (b. July 1861) (maybe Cantu). They were from Doctor Coss.
Their children were: Jose H. Alanis b. April 1896, Francisca b. Feb 1899, and Aurora b. March 1900.
This information was taken from a 1900 Census from Brownsville, Texas. My Grandmother was Francisca.
I realize that you are very busy, but maybe one of your associates would be willing to help. I really don't expect to hear from any one. I truly hope so, though.
