If you are like me, and I am pretty sure most of you are, your Genealogy E-book collection is growing. Well check out Calibre! It is a free e-book management software that can get the description to your e-books and covers. The way I like to see it, it is my own library on my computer.
What I really like about it is that it can handle almost any file type as mobi, txt, pdf, and many more. It can also convert them from one file format to another. Best of all it connects to your kindle to easily transfer the ebooks to it.
Calibre, also creates a website with your collection, thus making it accessible from anywhere. Sure there is some tinkering involved but it can be done. That is the preferred methot I get my ebooks from my collection to my kindle.
