Matias Portales, His Wives, and Children

The following is some research that I had done on some possible ancestors. I say possible since I did not have a definite document proving it. It was until years latter that I did find one and I ruled them out as being my ancestors.

1st Generation

Matias Portales died on an unknown date, parents are also unknown.  He married 1st Luisa Gertrudis De Guadalupe Ruiz, her parents are unknown also. He married 2nd Maria Gertrudis Caballero on Sep. 20, 1818 in Nuestra Senora Del Refugio, Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Maria Gertrudis, daughter of Jose Anselmo Caballero and Maria Josefa De La Garza, was born About 1802 in SANTANDER JIMENEZ, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO and died on an unknown date.

2. Maria Josefa De Los Dolores Portales was born About 1820 in CIUDAD VICTORIA, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO and died on an unknown date.
3. Maria Francisca De La Cruz Portales was born About 1822 in CIUDAD VICTORIA, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO and died on an unknown date.
4. Feliciana Portales died on an unknown date.
5. Polonia Portales was born About 1831 in CIUDAD VICTORIA, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO and died on an unknown date.

2nd Generation (Children)

1. Maria Facunda Portales (my great-great-great-grandmother) died on an unknown date.  She married 1st Jose Juan Nepomuceno Lopez on Jan. 13, 1840 in Inmaculada Concepción, Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Jose Juan Nepomuceno, son of Jose Domingo Lopez and Maria Bernarda Vela, was born on Feb. 4, 1817 in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and died on May 18, 1867 in Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She married 2nd Hemenegildo Vela, son of Desiderio Vela and Juliana Lopez, on Sep. 7, 1868 in Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
2. Maria Josefa De Los Dolores Portales was born About 1820 in CIUDAD VICTORIA, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO and died on an unknown date.
3. Maria Francisca De La Cruz Portales was born About 1822 in CIUDAD VICTORIA, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO and died on an unknown date.
4. Feliciana Portales died on an unknown date.  She married Bruno Castillo, son of Luciano Castillo and Viviana Nieto, on Mar. 30, 1842 in Nuestra Senora De La Consolacion, Soto La Marina, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
5. Polonia Portales was born About 1831 in CIUDAD VICTORIA, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO and died on an unknown date.
